At Denovo Physio & Rehab, our HCPC-registered clinicians provide an immersive 8-day (40-hour)  Hybrid CPD-certified training and observership experience.
You’ll explore UK clinical practice standards, observe patient-centred rehabilitation, and participate in interactive workshops that bridge theory with real-world physiotherapy.

This programme is educational and non-employment based, aligned with HCPC and CSP guidelines

 


What You'll Learn ?

During this 8-day (40-hour) Hybrid CPD-certified programme, participants gain structured exposure to UK physiotherapy standards of practice, developing professional insight through observation, workshops, and reflection. The course enhances understanding of clinical reasoning, ethical standards, documentation, and modern rehabilitation techniques in alignment with HCPC and CSP expectations.

Understand how the HCPC Standards of Proficiency and CSP Code of Values guide everyday clinical practice.

Discuss professional boundaries, duty of candour, consent, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance.

Observe examples of communication, teamwork, and accountability in multidisciplinary settings.

  • Observe MSK physiotherapy sessions led by HCPC-registered clinicians.

  • Understand the workflow of patient care from assessment to rehabilitation.

  • Learn professional conduct, communication, and confidentiality standards.

  • Interpret clinical reasoning through observation and guided discussion.

  • Participate in short daily reflections linking observation to ethical and professional practice.

  • Observe comprehensive subjective and objective MSK assessments.
  • Learn structured questioning (pain patterns, red flags, aggravating/easing factors).
  • Understand functional testing, range of motion, palpation

  • Practise professional documentation using the SOAP format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan).

  • Understand how clear, concise notes ensure continuity of care and legal accountability.

  • Observe progress documentation and treatment modifications in follow-ups.

  • Experience demonstrations of Shockwave Therapy, Wireless NMES, and Chattanooga Systems.
  • Learn clinical indications, safety protocols, and integration into rehab planning.
  • Understand how objective data supports clinical decision-making.

  • Participate in case-based simulation workshops led by Denovo clinicians.

  • Practise assessment interpretation and treatment planning using real MSK case studies.

  • Receive guided feedback to enhance analytical and presentation skills.

  • Maintain a daily reflective journal using the Gibbs Reflective Cycle.

  • Link learning outcomes to HCPC CPD requirements.

  • Conclude with a supervised reflection and feedback session.

  • Upon successful completion of all sessions and reflections, participants receive a Denovo CPD Certificate (40 Hours) — formally recognising their achievement in the HCPC/CSP-aligned Overseas Clinical Training & Observership Programme.
